About the Project

Afterglow imagines the return of Amy Winehouse in 2025, in a world where she survived, matured, and chose to reappear with a quieter, more intimate voice. This fictional album, produced under Universal Music Group, offers a narrative of resilience — not a comeback, but a reckoning. The visual direction blends subtlety and tactility. We designed a threefold vinyl sleeve as a carefully constructed object of memory, the embossed cover evokes both elegance and weight. Inside, a full-page portrait of “Amy” — a staged representation — is paired with the tracklist and photographs of curated symbolic objects. Every element is considered for its tactile and visual resonance, creating an atmosphere that feels real, without claiming authenticity. We extended the universe through a limited-edition t-shirt, conceived as a wearable memory, stripped down to essentials: a name, a title, a glow. Afterglow is both a tribute and a projection — a respectful, imaginative continuation of an unfinished story.
